Moore scores 20 to propel Norfolk State to a 105-42 victory over Washington Adventist

NORFOLK, Va. – In a commanding performance, Brian Moore Jr. scored 20 points as Norfolk State triumphed over Washington Adventist with a decisive score of 105-42 on Monday evening.

Moore’s well-rounded contribution included eight rebounds and seven assists, solidifying his key role for the Spartans, who now possess a record of 13 wins and 8 losses. Kuluel Mading also shone on the court, contributing 16 points while successfully making 5 out of 9 shots from the field and converting 5 of 10 free throw attempts. He further bolstered his stats with 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Rodney Baines had an efficient outing, hitting 7 of his 9 field goal attempts, resulting in another 16 points for the team. On the opposing side, Emanuel Hylton led the Shock with 15 points, while Felix McGhee chipped in with 10 points of his own.

Looking ahead, Norfolk State is set to face Howard in their next game, scheduled for Saturday.
