BURLINGTON, Vt. — In a commanding performance, Ileri Ayo-Faleye contributed 19 points to lead Vermont to a staggering 121-37 win over Elms College on Monday evening.
Ayo-Faleye showcased an impressive shooting performance, hitting 8 of 11 attempts from the field and making 1 out of 3 from beyond the arc, helping the Catamounts improve their record to 7-8.
Shamir Bogues added to the scoring with 15 points, successfully converting 6 of his 7 field goal attempts while nailing 2 of 3 from the three-point line. Sam Alamutu also made his presence felt, finishing with 14 points on 7 of 9 shooting overall.
For the Blazers, RJ Mayfield was the standout player, managing to score 10 points. Meanwhile, Aaron Sanchez contributed seven points to the overall total for Elms College.
Looking ahead, Vermont is set to take on New Hampshire in their next game on Saturday.
