Logan, Utah — In an impressive display, Mason Falslev led Utah State to a commanding 88-67 victory over South Florida on Saturday evening, marking the Aggies’ best record start in their history at 10-0.

Falslev not only showed his scoring prowess with 27 points but also contributed significantly on both ends of the court with nine rebounds, nine assists, and three steals. Ian Martinez supported the effort with 15 points, despite hitting only 4 of 12 shots from the field and just one of six from beyond the arc; he was perfect from the free-throw line, going 6-for-6, and also provided five assists. Karson Templin added to the scoring, finishing with 12 points after going 5 for 8 from the field.

For South Florida, Quincy Adekokoya was the top scorer, tallying 12 points. His teammate Kasen Jennings played well, adding 11 points along with five assists. Brandon Stroud also made a contribution, scoring 10 points and registering two steals in the contest.

The Aggies are looking to continue their winning streak as they prepare for a home matchup against UCSD on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Florida will be seeking a turnaround as they host Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday.
