Williamson contributes 15 points in Niagara’s 60-52 victory over LIU

    LEWISTON, N.Y. — A strong performance from Jahari Williamson, who scored 15 points, led the Niagara Purple Eagles to a 60-52 victory over LIU on Sunday.

    Williamson demonstrated his shooting skills, making 5 of 10 attempts from the field, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc. Key contributions also came from Olumide Adelodun, who scored 12 points with an impressive shooting percentage of 4 for 5 from the field and a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line, while also securing six rebounds. Additionally, Jhaylon Martinez finished the game with 11 points, hitting 4 of 5 from the field and also going 3 for 3 at the line.

    On the opposing side, Terell Strickland was the standout for the LIU Sharks, racking up 17 points along with five assists and two steals. Malachi Davis added support with 15 points and two steals, while Jalen Lee contributed eight points to the team’s effort.

    Looking ahead, Niagara will face Siena at home on Friday, while LIU is set to go up against York (NY) on Wednesday.
