The Arkansas Razorbacks secured a big win over Vanderbilt on Tuesday night. Final score: 90-77. Johnell Davis shined, leading the team with 21 points. Arkansas improved to 18-12 overall and 7-10 in the SEC.

Trevon Brazile’s Big Night with help from Johnell Davis

Trevon Brazile had a breakout game. He recorded his first double-double of the season. He scored 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. His strong presence helped Arkansas control the boards.

D.J. Wagner and Others Step Up

D.J. Wagner had a huge second half. He scored all 14 of his points after halftime. Zvonimir Ivisic also added 14 points. Karter Knox contributed 10 points to the team effort.

Game-Changing 13-0 Run with Johnell Davis

Arkansas took control midway through the first half. They went on a 13-0 run. Karter Knox hit two three-point plays. Then, Brazile stole an inbounds pass and finished with a windmill dunk. Arkansas ended the first half leading 43-35. All thanks to Johnell Davis.

Vanderbilt Tries to Fight Back

Vanderbilt made a strong push early in the second half. A.J. Hoggard hit a three-pointer just 41 seconds in. He cut the lead to six points. But Arkansas held firm.

Tyler Nickel led Vanderbilt with 16 points. Hoggard added 14 points and seven assists. Devin McGlockton scored 12 points before fouling out. MJ Collins chipped in 10 points.

Razorbacks Control the Game

Arkansas with Johnell Davis played with efficiency. They shot 51% from the field. They made 33 of 65 shots. Vanderbilt struggled, making only 38% of their shots. They connected on 23 of 60 attempts.

Adou Thiero Still Out

Arkansas played without Adou Thiero for the third straight game. He is dealing with a knee injury. Brazile stepped up in his absence. Thiero has been , next to Johnell Davis, one of Arkansas’ top players this season. He leads the team with 15.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. He also shoots 55% from the field.

What’s Next for Both Teams?

Both teams play their final regular-season games on Saturday. Arkansas will host No. 25 Mississippi State. Vanderbilt travels to Georgia for their last game before the SEC Tournament.
