PROVIDENCE, R.I. — In an impressive display on Friday night, AJ Lesburt Jr. led the Bears to an 86-61 triumph over Columbia, scoring 20 points for Brown.
Alongside his scoring efforts, Lesburt contributed five rebounds, helping elevate his team’s performance in the contest. The Bears, now standing at 13-10 overall and 5-5 in the Ivy League, also received notable contributions from Malcolm Wrisby-Jefferson, who netted 14 points after an efficient shooting night where he connected on 7 of 10 attempts from the field.
Additionally, Landon Lewis had a solid outing, scoring 11 points on 5 of 7 shooting while grabbing eight rebounds.
For Columbia, the Lions (12-11, 1-9 Ivy League) were led by Gerard O’Keefe, who tallied 16 points alongside Gianni Cobb, who matched that total and added three steals to his stat line.
Kenny Noland also contributed to Columbia’s efforts, finishing with eight points and seven rebounds.
Both teams are set for their next matchups on Saturday, with Brown scheduled to play against Cornell and Columbia heading on the road to face Yale.
