Duggan scores 33 to propel Campbell past Delaware 96-91

    NEWARK, Del. — Colby Duggan shone brightly with an impressive 33 points, guiding Campbell to a thrilling 96-91 victory over Delaware on Saturday evening.

    Duggan added six rebounds to his scoring tally for the Fighting Camels, who now stand at 15-12 overall and 10-4 in the Coastal Athletic Association. Tasos Cook was also instrumental for Campbell, shooting 8 of 9 from the floor and maintaining perfect free-throw shooting, finishing the game with 19 points. Nolan Dorsey contributed 13 points, going 3 for 10 from the field, including 1 for 4 in three-point attempts, and making all six of his free throws.

    For the Fightin’ Blue Hens, Cavan Reilly emerged as a key player with 24 points. Erik Timko added another 18 points, while Izaiah Pasha recorded a solid performance, tallying 17 points, nine assists, and four steals.

    In the first half, Duggan managed to score 10 points, but despite his efforts, Campbell entered halftime trailing 46-38. However, his remarkable 23-point second-half performance propelled Campbell to a comeback and secured their five-point victory.

    Looking ahead, both teams are set to continue their season on Thursday. Campbell will travel to take on N.C. A&T, whereas Delaware is scheduled to host Drexel at home.
