HOUSTON — In an impressive display of teamwork and skill, Javohn Garcia and DJ Richards each contributed 16 points, guiding McNeese to a solid 75-59 victory over Houston Christian on Monday evening. This win marks the seventh consecutive triumph for the Cowboys, showcasing their growing dominance in the Southland Conference.

Garcia’s performance was well-rounded, as he also secured seven rebounds and made four critical steals. His teammate, Richards, also excelled defensively with four steals of his own. Joe Charles made a noteworthy contribution as well, adding 11 points to the scoreboard for McNeese (12-5, 6-0 in the Southland Conference).

On the other side, the Huskies, who hold a record of 6-11 and 3-3 in conference play, were led by D’Aundre Samuels.
