HAMMOND, La. — In a Saturday evening matchup, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi triumphed over Southeastern Louisiana, securing an 80-71 victory. Isaac Williams was a standout player for the Islanders, contributing significantly with 23 points and five rebounds, enhancing his team’s performance.

In addition to Williams’ impressive showing, Garry Clark had a notable game, scoring 15 points and pulling down 16 rebounds, while converting 6 of his 13 shots, which included one successful attempt from beyond the arc. Owen Dease also made a strong impact, finishing the game with 15 points. He was efficient from the field, hitting 4 of 10, including 3 of 6 from three-point territory, and sinking all four of his free-throw attempts.

On the opposing side, the Lions were led by Jeremy Elyzee, who delivered a solid performance, recording 21 points and snagging 10 rebounds, along with two steals. Jakevion Buckley supported the team with 17 points and added two steals of his own. Additionally, Sam Hines Jr. contributed 15 points to the Lions’ effort.
