AUSTIN, Texas — In a commanding display on Saturday, Kansas State transfer Arthur Kaluma and talented freshman Tre Johnson each contributed 18 points, leading Texas to a decisive 89-43 victory over Mississippi Valley State.

This triggered a decisive 17-5 run that featured seven points from Kaluma, allowing Texas to establish a comfortable lead.
Shedrick’s emphatic dunk pushed Texas ahead 33-23 by halftime. An impressive start to the second half saw Johnson score nine points in the first three minutes, extending the lead to 17.
