Travis Kelce is reveling in life after winning his third Super Bowl championship with the Kansas City Chiefs. The 34-year-old tight end tells PEOPLE he’s “the happiest I’ve ever been” and his “glass is all the way full.”
“I’m oozing life right now,” Kelce adds, fresh off a Bahamas vacation with girlfriend Taylor Swift. He’s been seizing all the opportunities that come with being a newly-minted three-time NFL champion.
“When you win the Super Bowl, all these doors open, and I’ve just been going through them, experiencing life and appreciating the people that got me here while also meeting new faces,” Kelce explains.
Though he’ll eventually shift focus back to football, Kelce currently has a busy slate of projects off the field. On May 18th, he’ll host his second annual Kelce Jam music festival featuring Lil Wayne, Diplo and 2 Chainz. This summer, production begins on a Basquiat documentary he’s co-producing called King Pleasure. And in early 2025, Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes will open a Kansas City steakhouse dubbed 1587 Prime.
“It doesn’t feel like there’s much chill in my life. Everything seems full throttle, moving at the speed of light – and that’s how I like it,” says the always-energetic Kelce. “I like an up-paced lifestyle with exciting things going on.”
He’s particularly eager to further immerse himself in entertainment before his playing days end. “I’m trying to dabble in that world before locking back in on football as my sole focus until I’m done. But dabbling in entertainment is something I’m really interested in.”
As he explores these passions, Kelce’s top priority is enjoying the journey. “I’m just so grateful” for the chance to host Kelce Jam again and keep Kansas City’s championship celebrations rolling with “20,000 fans, amazing music, food from the best local spots” and more.
“It’s such a cool experience to do this for Kansas City, seeing them want to do this with me too,” Kelce beams. Life is good for the newly-minted NFL legend.
