The Levys had a successful year at the 2020 Emmys with their acclaimed series “Schitt’s Creek.” Eugene Levy received the outstanding comedy actor award, while Dan Levy won best supporting comedy actor. Additionally, Dan Levy was victorious in the writing and directing categories, and both Levys claimed the outstanding comedy series accolade as executive producers.
Both Eugene and Dan Levy shared their enthusiasm for hosting this year’s Emmys in a physical theater after their remote win in 2020. They expressed gratitude for the opportunity and the chance to celebrate an exceptional season of television.
This father-son duo will be making history as the first-ever pair to host the Emmys together since the 2018 hosting by “Saturday Night Live” stars Colin Jost and Michael Che. Viewers can catch the 76th Emmys live in Los Angeles on September 15 on ABC, with the show streaming on Hulu the following day.
Aside from co-hosting duties, Eugene Levy remains a nominee this year for his Apple TV+ series “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy,” a unique show that combines a reserved host with stunning global destinations.
