CORNELIUS, Ore. — In a tragic incident that shook the small community, a woman and her three young children were discovered dead in their home on Tuesday afternoon in northwestern Oregon.
The authorities revealed that the lifeless bodies of a 37-year-old mother and her children, ages 2, 5, and 7, were found in Cornelius—a town situated approximately 25 miles west of Portland. Deputy David Huey, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office, informed local media that the deceased were located in a building annexed to their residence. He remarked on the significant impact of the event, stating, “This is a pretty tragic event. The community between Cornelius and North Plains is small, and the tragedy will be deeply felt.”
Detailed information regarding the identity of the victims or their causes of death remains unavailable at this time.
As of now, no arrests have been made concerning the incident. Investigative reports indicate that the sheriff’s office does not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
