BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — A tragic incident occurred Saturday when a small aircraft crashed into a residence in a suburb of Minneapolis, causing the death of at least one individual on board, according to a city official. Though the house suffered extensive damage, its occupants were unharmed, stated Risikat Adesaogun, a spokesperson for Brooklyn Park.

The ill-fated flight involved a single-engine SOCATA TBM7 plane. Presently, authorities remain uncertain about the exact number of individuals on the aircraft at the time of the crash, as noted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The aircraft was en route to the Anoka County-Blaine Airport, another suburb of Minneapolis, after departing from Des Moines International Airport earlier that day. The incident has prompted an investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
