    ST. MORITZ, Switzerland — The United States successfully defended its title in the aerials team competition at the world freestyle and snowboard championships on Thursday. The trio of Kaila Kuhn, Quinn Dehlinger, and Christopher Lillis achieved a remarkable score of 344.63 points, placing them 32 points ahead of Ukraine, who secured the second position. Switzerland finished in third place.

    Both Dehlinger and Lillis were instrumental in recapturing the title they previously won in Bakuriani in 2023. This achievement reflects the strength and consistency of the U.S. team in aerials events. Kaila Kuhn, who had just participated in her first team event, expressed her excitement and satisfaction with her performance, remarking, “I was so happy to put that triple to my feet. That was the first one that I’ve landed.” Her contribution was pivotal in the team’s overall success.
