    In Paradise, Nevada, a thrilling matchup unfolded as JaKobe Coles propelled Grand Canyon University to a 75-66 victory over Cal Baptist during the semifinals of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday. Securing their spot in the finals, the second-ranked Antelopes are now set to challenge top-seeded Utah Valley in the championship game on Saturday.

    Coles was a standout performer for the Antelopes (25-7), netting an impressive 22 points. He demonstrated precision by hitting 7 out of 13 field goals, including 2 of 3 from beyond the arc, and maintained accuracy with 6 out of 7 free throws. Contributing to the team’s triumph, Tyon Grant-Foster scored 18 points, shooting 7 for 12 from the field, and was consistent at the free-throw line, hitting 3 out of 4. Rayshon Harrison also made his mark with 14 points, boasting an efficient 5 of 9 from the field and perfect free-throw shooting at 4 for 4.
