Former safety for the Miami Dolphins, Jevon Holland, has reached an agreement on a lucrative deal with the New York Giants. Sources familiar with the agreement shared that Holland has secured a three-year contract worth $45.3 million. This arrangement includes a guaranteed sum of $30.3 million. The deal comes just ahead of the new league year’s official commencement on Wednesday, when teams are permitted to sign free agents.
Holland, who was initially drafted in the second round by the Dolphins in 2021, has had an impressive career with Miami. Over his four seasons, he has been a key player, starting in 57 games. His defensive skills have been remarkable, with a record of five interceptions and an average of 85 tackles each year.
The New York Giants have strategically enhanced their defensive lineup during the free agency period, adding valuable players to their secondary, including Holland and cornerback Paulson Adebo. This move is expected to strengthen their defense as they prepare for the upcoming season.
