SACRAMENTO, Calif. — With an impressive performance, Karl-Anthony Towns led the New York Knicks to a commanding victory over the Sacramento Kings, finishing with 26 points and securing nine rebounds in Monday night’s game, which concluded with a score of 133-104.
OG Anunoby made a significant contribution to the Knicks’ success with 24 points, supplemented by seven rebounds, eight assists, and five steals, showcasing his versatility. Miles McBride was another standout player, hitting 7 of 11 shots, including 4 of 5 from beyond the arc, to accumulate 21 points.
On the Kings’ side, Malik Monk was the top-scorer with 21 points. Zach LaVine added to their effort with 17 points.
The Knicks took control of the game early on, establishing a lead with 7:33 remaining in the first quarter, and maintained dominance throughout. By halftime, New York was securely ahead at 66-51, bolstered by McBride’s impressive 16-point performance.
The Knicks continued to widen the gap in the third quarter, pulling ahead by as much as 79-58 after executing an 11-0 run. Towns played a key role in the latter half, scoring 15 of his points to help cement the win.

On the contrary, Sacramento’s loss resulted in their drop to a 33-31 record, putting them two games behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth position in the Western Conference standings.
