Nelson’s 25 lead Utah Valley over Tarleton 71-66

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Utah Valley emerged victorious over Tarleton State with a close 71-66 win thanks to an impressive 25-point performance from Dominick Nelson.
Nelson also contributed six rebounds to the Wolverines’ success. Alongside Nelson, Carter Welling made a significant impact on the court with 18 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. Tanner Toolson chipped in with eight points, helping Utah Valley extend their winning streak to eight games.
On the Texan’s side, Freddy Hicks led the charge by scoring 20 points, grabbing eight rebounds, and making two steals. Keitenn Bristow supported the effort by putting up 13 points and securing two blocks, while Dantwan Grimes added 12 points for Tarleton State.
