    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — It was a remarkable performance by Jemel Jones, who led CSU Bakersfield to a convincing 76-64 victory over Hawaii on Thursday night.
    Jones was the standout player for the Roadrunners, delivering an impressive 29 points alongside five rebounds, ensuring that his team secured a vital win.
    Joining Jones in the spotlight, CJ Hardy added 19 points to the scoreboard and contributed six rebounds, fortifying their offensive efforts. Meanwhile, Marvin McGhee showcased his shooting prowess, making six out of 15 shots, and was particularly effective from three-point range, hitting four out of nine attempts to end the match with 16 points.
    The Rainbow Warriors faced an uphill battle despite a valiant attempt on their part. Gytis Nemeiksa proved to be a formidable opponent as he topped the scoring for Hawaii with 21 points.
