DALLAS – In an electrifying matchup on Thursday evening, Jason Robertson netted two goals, one of which was the decisive score with just 42 seconds remaining in overtime, leading the Dallas Stars to a remarkable comeback victory over the Calgary Flames, 3-2. The Stars had rallied from a two-goal deficit to seize the win.
Roope Hintz played a pivotal role by assisting on both goals scored by Robertson, accumulating 11 assists over the past four games. This achievement marks him as the first player in franchise history to have nine assists over three games, and he is currently maintaining a six-game point streak. Robertson’s initial goal leveled the score in the third period, contributing significantly to extending the Stars’ home victory streak to seven games. This game marked only their second win of the season after trailing at the end of the second period. Robertson leads the team with 27 goals.
Calgary started strong with Joel Farabee executing a skillful between-the-legs move to score early in the first period.
