TEANECK, N.J. — Fairleigh Dickinson University emerged victorious in a decisive 71-56 win over Stonehill in the Northeast Conference Tournament on Wednesday evening. This triumph propels Fairleigh Dickinson into the tournament semifinals, where they are set to face the top-seeded Central Connecticut team on Saturday.
Terrence Brown was the standout performer for the Knights, contributing significantly with 23 points, five rebounds, and six assists. His efforts were supported by Bismark Nsiah, who tallied 12 points while maintaining an efficient 4 of 6 shooting accuracy from the field and capitalizing on 4 of 5 free-throw opportunities, alongside securing three steals. Jo’el Emanuel contributed 11 points, shooting 4 of 8 from the field, including 3 of 7 from deep.
On the other side, Louie Semona led the scoring for Stonehill with 15 points and added two steals to his defensive performance. Todd Brogna also played a pivotal role for the Skyhawks, contributing a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
