    NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — Central Connecticut State emerged triumphant in the Northeast Conference Tournament quarterfinals with an emphatic 86-67 victory over Le Moyne on Wednesday. Standout player Jordan Jones guided the top-seeded Blue Devils to success, scoring 19 points and securing five rebounds.

    Jones showcased his skills alongside teammates Jaelen McGlone, who contributed 18 points along with five rebounds, shooting 7-of-11 from the floor, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc. Devin Haid also made a significant impact, scoring 14 points with an impressive 5-of-8 shooting performance and a perfect 3-of-3 at the free-throw line. This match marked the 12th consecutive win for the Blue Devils as they advanced to face fourth-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson in Saturday’s semifinal.

    On the other side, Dwayne Koroma led the charge for the Dolphins, the eighth-seeded team. He ended the match with 24 points, seven rebounds, and contributed defensively with two steals. Le Moyne’s AJ Dancier supported with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Nate Fouts added 13 points and collected two steals.
