Kameron Hobbs’ 20 points lead Morgan State past Delaware

    BALTIMORE — Kameron Hobbs was instrumental in leading Morgan State to a victory over Delaware State, securing a 87-81 win Monday night.

    Hobbs not only contributed significantly with 20 points but also added three crucial steals to the Bears’ efforts. His fellow teammate, Will Thomas, was equally impactful, scoring 16 points while grabbing seven rebounds. Daniel Akitoby also made a notable contribution with 12 points.

    On the opposing side, Robert Smith was a standout player for the Hornets, impressively scoring 34 points and making four steals. Kaseem Watson complemented his efforts with 18 points and nine rebounds, while Muneer Newton delivered solid support with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

    As the season edges closer to its conclusion, Delaware State, Morgan State, and Howard are currently tied for third place, each eyeing the final outcomes with just one game remaining in the regular season.
