In a thrilling conclusion to the NFL scouting combine held in Indianapolis, offensive tackle Armand Membou from Missouri delivered an impressive showcase on Sunday, while Jared Wilson, a center from Georgia, made history with his remarkable speed.

The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Wilson stunned onlookers by outpacing Membou’s 40-yard dash time in the last run of the session, clocking in at 4.84 seconds. This achievement made him only the second lineman weighing over 300 pounds to complete the sprint in under 4.85 seconds, the previous instance being Lane Johnson in 2013.

Membou, on the other hand, solidified his top-tier status by demonstrating the best overall performance. Having arrived in Indianapolis as one of the highest-rated offensive linemen, he matched that reputation with a 40-yard dash time of 4.91 seconds, the second-fastest among his peers. Membou also dominated his segment with a 9-foot, 7-inch broad jump and placed fourth with a vertical leap of 34 inches. Listed at 6-4 and 332 pounds, Membou impressed scouts and analysts alike.

Adding to the excitement, Will Campbell, a 6-6, 319-pound tackle from LSU, shared the second spot in the broad jump with Tate Ratledge, a guard from Georgia, both achieving a distance of 9-5.

Campbell and Membou are both projected as strong contenders to be the first offensive linemen drafted in April. Meanwhile, Grey Zabel, a tackle representing North Dakota State, achieved the top vertical jump on Sunday with a leap of 36 1/2 inches. He was closely followed by Jalen Travis from Iowa State at 35 inches and Oregon’s Josh Conerly Jr. at 34 1/2 inches.

The final round of testing for quarterbacks, running backs, and receivers included the bench press challenge. Donovan Edwards from Michigan and Jarquez Hunter of Auburn led the running backs, with Edwards achieving 23 reps and Hunter finishing with 21. Among the receiver group, Jaylin Noel from Iowa State and Jack Bech from TCU stood out, managing 23 and 19 reps, respectively. Notably, none of the quarterbacks participated in this activity.

The combine’s week-long events will draw to a close with the final workout on Monday, focusing on the bench press for the offensive linemen.
