The Jaspers’ victory was largely driven by Wesley Robinson, who racked up 16 points by shooting 4 of 7, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc, and knocking down 5 of 6 free throws.
Devin Dinkins played a pivotal role for Manhattan as well, contributing 15 points with a shooting performance of 5 for 8. He capitalized on half of his 3-point attempts, sinking 2 out of 4, and was perfect from the free-throw line with 3 for 3, while also dishing out seven assists. Shaquil Bender supported the effort by adding 14 points as he made 6 of 9 field goals, with a successful 2 out of 3 from 3-point range.
On the other side, the Purple Eagles of Niagara were led by Olumide Adelodun, who scored 16 points, grabbed six rebounds, and provided four assists. Jaeden Marshall aided the team with 15 points, while Josiah Davis contributed with 11 points to the scoreboard.
Looking ahead, both teams gear up for Thursday’s matchups. Manhattan will host Sacred Heart, while Niagara sets out to compete against Saint Peter’s.
