Noard Scores 19; Cornell Tops Princeton 102-70

    ITHACA, N.Y. — An impressive performance by Cooper Noard helped Cornell secure a commanding victory over Princeton with a final score of 102-70 on Sunday.

    Noard was instrumental for the Big Red, scoring 19 points. His accurate shooting included 6-for-11 from the field and an exceptional 5-for-10 from beyond the arc, in addition to sinking 2 out of 3 free throws. Contributing to Cornell’s triumph, Guy Ragland Jr. added 17 points and demonstrated proficiency by shooting 7 of 8 from the field, including a 3-for-4 performance from three-point range, along with grabbing eight rebounds. Jake Fiegen was another key player, scoring 16 points while successfully making 5 of his 9 attempts from downtown and securing six rebounds.

    Princeton, which now holds an 18-10 record with a 7-6 standing in the Ivy League, struggled against Cornell’s offensive power. Xaivian Lee led the effort for the Tigers with 14 points and provided five assists. Supporting the team’s efforts, Caden Pierce contributed 12 points.
