    CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Garry Clark delivered a standout performance as Texas A&M-CC triumphed over SE Louisiana with a score of 68-54 on Saturday.

    Clark contributed significantly to the Islanders’ victory, securing 16 points and collecting nine rebounds, helping his team advance to an 18-13 record overall, with an 11-8 standing in the Southland Conference.

    Jaden Walker also played a crucial role, scoring 12 points and snagging 10 rebounds. Additionally, Owen Dease contributed with 12 points, making 4 out of 10 shots, including two successful three-pointers from six attempts.

    For the Lions, who hold an 18-12 record with a 12-7 performance in the conference, Sam Hines Jr. led their efforts with 12 points and six rebounds. Jeremy Elyzee also made an impact with 10 points and seven rebounds, while Kam Burton added another 10 points and managed to capture two steals.

    Moving forward, both teams are gearing up for their next games, which are scheduled for Monday. Texas A&M-CC will be hosting New Orleans at home, while SE Louisiana is set to face UT Rio Grande Valley on the road.
