Dunn’s 26 Points Propel Buffalo to Victory Over Toledo

    BUFFALO, N.Y. — In a standout performance, Tyson Dunn led Buffalo to an 87-74 victory over Toledo on Saturday, scoring an impressive 26 points.

    Dunn’s on-point shooting resulted in him going 10 of 14 from the field, including landing 6 out of 9 from beyond the arc for the Bulls, who now stand at 9-20 overall and 4-12 in the Mid-American Conference. Bryson Wilson bolstered the team’s efforts with 20 points, making 8 of 8 shots and 3 of 3 from three-point range, while also contributing six rebounds. Ben Michaels was flawless from the field, making all six of his shots to secure 14 points.

    For the Rockets, who are now 16-13 overall with a conference record of 9-7, Javan Simmons stood out by scoring 21 points and grabbing seven rebounds, along with two steals. His teammate, Sonny Wilson, added 16 points as well as providing four assists and making two steals. Sam Lewis rounded off their top performances with 15 points.

    Buffalo managed to reclaim the lead for good when Dunn nailed a three-pointer with 17:46 left on the clock, and the Bulls went on to outscore Toledo by 13 points in the second half.

    Both teams are set to return to the court on Tuesday, with Buffalo welcoming Miami (OH) and Toledo preparing to face Akron.
