ORLANDO, Fla. — Jalen Suggs is facing a setback in his promising season with the Orlando Magic due to a left knee injury. Doctors have found that Suggs is suffering from a trochlea injury, and this new concern will keep him out of action for an indefinite period. The injury was identified as Suggs was attempting to make a comeback from a bruised left quadriceps, which had kept him off the court for the past month.

This season, Suggs has been a key player for the Magic, boasting an average of 16.2 points in the games he has played. However, his appearances have been limited to just 35 games so far. The young guard, who was selected as the No. 4 pick in the 2021 draft, initially missed 10 games in January due to a low back strain and was later sidelined for 14 games because of the quadriceps injury.

The Orlando Magic have communicated that a treatment plan for Suggs is being put together, and they expect him to make a complete recovery. The team’s focus is now on ensuring Suggs receives the best possible care to aid his rehabilitation and return to the court.
