Robert Morris Secures Horizon Title Share, Tops IU Indy 82-68

    INDIANAPOLIS – In a compelling showdown on Thursday night, Robert Morris emerged victorious over IU Indianapolis, securing a decisive 82-68 win and at least a share of the Horizon League regular-season championship. Robert Morris, boasting an impressive record of 23-8 overall and 15-5 in the league, has now claimed victory in their last seven consecutive games.

    The victory was driven by an outstanding performance from Josh Omojafo, who scored an impressive 27 points and contributed seven rebounds, leading the charge for the Colonials. Not far behind was Kam Woods, who added a double-double with 21 points accompanied by 11 rebounds. Alvaro Folgueiras also made a significant contribution, successfully making 5 of his 8 attempts, including one 3-pointer, and three free throws to end the game with 14 points.

    On the opposite side, IU Indianapolis was guided by the efforts of Sean Craig and Jarvis Walker, who each contributed 17 points. Paul Zilinskas also added 14 points to the Jaguars’ total. Despite their efforts, IU Indianapolis fell short and now holds a 9-21 record for the season, with their league record standing at 5-14.

    Looking ahead, IU Indianapolis is set to host Wright State in their upcoming game on Saturday as they aim to improve their standing.
