    FLORENCE, Ala. — North Alabama clinched a monumental victory on Wednesday night, taking down Queens with a score of 74-69. This win marks a significant achievement for North Alabama, as they celebrated their first-ever Atlantic Sun Conference regular-season championship.

    Jacari Lane was a standout performer for the Lions, contributing 20 points to their winning tally. Lane demonstrated precision by making 7 of 17 shots from the field, including an impressive 4 of 6 from three-point range. His efforts played a crucial role in ensuring North Alabama’s historic win. Joining him, Taye Fields also displayed excellent form, scoring 18 points while successfully converting 8 of 12 shots. Fields made a noteworthy impact beyond scoring by securing nine rebounds and effectively contributing with three steals.

    Donte Bacchus added to North Alabama’s offensive strength by scoring 16 points, having shot 6 of 11 from the field. Meanwhile, Queens’ attempt to close the gap was led by Leo Colimerio, who notched 18 points and collected six rebounds. His teammates, Kalib Mathews and Chris Ashby, added 11 points each, with Mathews also assisting with six rebounds and six assists, indicating their determined efforts to keep the game competitive.
