In a lively celebration of its 30th anniversary, Dsquared2 took center stage at Milan Fashion Week with a dynamic runway extravaganza. Marking the occasion, the show opened with the striking entrance of rapper Doechii emerging from an armored vehicle brimming with dollar bills. The closure of the event featured the esteemed Naomi Campbell striding down the runway in a striking leather biker bodysuit.

Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caten, the masterminds behind the brand, have long been celebrated for their bold interpretations of denim and flannel. They capture their essence succinctly on social media: “Born in Canada, Made in Italy.” Bringing a taste of New York City nightlife to Milan, their anniversary showcase was a feast of celebrity appearances, including models Isabeli Fontana and Irina Shayk, rapper NLE Choppa, and a vivid display of hot rods like a McClaren, Porsche, a limo, and a police car.

The fashion display seamlessly integrated the designers’ Canadian roots with a contemporary, urban flair, accentuated by bold, skin-revealing outfits. Women’s fashion featured short-shorts coupled with intricately laced corsets trailing into dramatic T-shirt trains, alongside sheer nets layered under plush puffer coats and oversized furry hats. Men’s styles included oversized shorts paired with baggy denim and plaid shirts elevated by silver and gold lame puffer jackets, all complemented by bejeweled jeans.

Integral to the collection were collaborations with brands such as Magliano, Vaquera, Better, Ducati, and Kiss, offering an array of items like T-shirts and sparkling underwear. The runway spectacle took a humorous turn as Brigitte Nielsen, outfitted as a stylish cop, playfully extracted the handcuffed twins from a squad car, leaving the nature of their crimes to the imagination—a little too much glam adorned on the chaps, perhaps?

As the event came to a close, Nielsen eloquently summed up the grand affair: “Dsquared takes Hollywood to Milan. They are amazing. The No. 1 show in Milano,” she declared, leading into a festive afterparty headlined by Doechii and JT.
