PHOENIX — In an intense matchup on Saturday evening, Grand Canyon secured a narrow victory over California Baptist with a final score of 66-64, thanks largely to JaKobe Coles, who scored 18 points for the Antelopes.

Coles not only contributed on the offensive end but also made his mark defensively, recording three steals for Grand Canyon, which now boasts a record of 20 wins and 6 losses, and sits at 10-2 in the Western Athletic Conference. Rayshon Harrison also played a significant role with his 16 points, shooting 6 for 13 overall and making 2 of 4 from three-point territory. Additionally, Duke Brennan provided support with 8 points and pulled down an impressive 12 rebounds.

On the other side, Kendal Coleman was the standout for the Lancers, finishing with 24 points and securing 7 rebounds. Martel Williams contributed 19 points along with three steals. Riley rounded out the effort with 9 points, and he provided 6 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks throughout the contest.
