Hawthorne scores 25 in Northern Colorado’s 92-74 win over Idaho

Isaiah Hawthorne showcased an impressive performance with 25 points in the victory of Northern Colorado over Idaho, which ended with a score of 92-74 on Saturday evening.
Hawthorne’s shooting was remarkable, hitting 9 out of 11 attempts from the field, which included making 3 of 4 from beyond the arc and converting 4 of 5 free throws.
This win elevated the Bears’ record to 21-8 overall and 13-3 within the Big Sky Conference.
Alongside Hawthorne, Langston Reynolds contributed significantly to the team’s success by scoring 21 points, shooting 10 of 15 from the field, while also pulling down five rebounds and distributing five assists.
Quinn Denker further supported the team with 13 points, making 5 of 7 shots in his efforts.

On the other side of the court, Tyler Linhardt was the standout performer for the Vandals, recording 23 points.
Additionally, Kolton Mitchell added 11 points to the scoreboard along with two steals, while Julius Mims chipped in with 10 points for Idaho, who now holds a record of 12-16 overall and 7-8 in conference play.

Looking ahead, Northern Colorado will prepare to face Northern Arizona in their next matchup scheduled for Saturday, while Idaho is set to host Idaho State on Thursday.
