Fofana scores 20 to propel CSU Northridge over UC Davis 65-62

Mahmoud Fofana made a significant impact in the game on Saturday night, as he led CSU Northridge to a narrow 65-62 victory over UC Davis.
Fofana recorded an impressive 20 points while also making his presence felt on the boards with 13 rebounds, contributing to the Matadors’ success.
Alongside him, Marcus Adams Jr. played a key role, scoring 19 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
Scotty Washington also added to the team’s efforts, finishing with 14 points on an efficient 7 of 10 shooting from the field.
This win marked the seventh consecutive victory for the Matadors, boosting their season record to 20-7 and improving their Big West Conference standing to 12-4.

On the other side of the court, UC Davis (15-13, 9-8) was led by Ty Johnson, who put on a stellar performance with 24 points, in addition to seven assists and two steals.
Connor Sevilla contributed 14 points to the Aggies’ effort and made his mark defensively with two steals.
Furthermore, Leo DeBruhl chipped in with nine points, rounding out the contributions from UC Davis.

Looking ahead, CSU Northridge is set to face off against UC San Diego at home on Thursday, seeking to extend their winning streak further.
Meanwhile, UC Davis will travel to Hawaii for their next game on Sunday, aiming to bounce back from this close loss.
