NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — In an impressive performance, Jordan Jones led the way for Central Connecticut State, scoring 23 points in their commanding 67-41 victory over Stonehill on Saturday.

Jones displayed exceptional shooting skills, hitting 9 out of 16 attempts from the floor and making 5 of his 8 three-point shots. The win improved the Blue Devils’ record to 21-6 overall and 12-2 in the Northeast Conference. Devin Haid contributed significantly to the team’s success by not only scoring 10 points but also grabbing seven rebounds and recording four steals. Jaelen McGlone played a key role as well, shooting efficiently with 3 for 4 from the field, including 2 for 3 from long range, to finish with eight points. This triumph marked the Blue Devils’ tenth consecutive win, solidifying their strong position in the league.

On the other end, Stonehill struggled against the Blue Devils, with Todd Brogna being the standout player, scoring 11 points. His teammates Chas Stinson and Hermann Koffi contributed with 10 and 6 points, respectively, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome of the game.
