PATTAYA, Thailand — Angel Yin wrapped up a stellar performance on Saturday, securing her position in the lead of the LPGA Thailand tournament after an impressive final stretch of her front nine. She recorded birdies on three of her last four holes, enabling her to finish the day with a remarkable score of 8-under 64. This strong showing brought her total for the three rounds to 21-under 195 at the Siam Country Club’s Pattaya Old Course, giving her a five-stroke advantage heading into the final round.
Following her, Japanese golfer Akie Iwai, a sponsor invitee who had maintained the lead for the first two rounds, shot a 71 and slipped into second place.
