Toledo, Ohio – In a thrilling matchup, Javontae Campbell propelled Bowling Green to a narrow 69-68 victory over Toledo on Friday night, contributing significantly with a total of 23 points, which included the decisive layup just one second before the final buzzer.

Campbell’s performance saw him connecting on 10 of his 20 attempts from the field, although he struggled from long range, hitting only 1 of 5 attempts from three-point territory. Supporting him, Derrick Butler scored 20 points on an efficient 8 of 14 shooting, also contributing three successful shots from beyond the arc out of seven tries. Meanwhile, Marcus Johnson rounded out the scoring for the Falcons with 10 points, hitting 2 out of 5 from three-point range and pulling down six rebounds.
