KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In an exciting matchup on Wednesday night, Marquel Sutton played a key role in Omaha’s 78-66 victory over Kansas City by scoring 22 points.
Sutton was impressive on the court, hitting 8 of 14 shots, including a perfect 3 for 3 from beyond the arc, and converting 3 of 4 free throws. This performance contributed significantly to the Mavericks’ strong season record of 17 wins and 12 losses, along with an impressive 11-3 standing in the Summit League.

JJ White also made a notable impact, adding 20 points to the scoreboard. His shooting was efficient, hitting 5 of 12 attempts from the floor, with 4 of those being successful 3-pointers, and he maintained perfection at the free-throw line with 6 made shots out of 6 attempts.
