Ryan Curry shone brightly in Army’s recent performance, netting 25 points during a 76-69 win over American on Wednesday night.
His contribution didn’t stop at scoring, as he also secured seven rebounds for the Black Knights, who now hold a record of 16 wins and 11 losses and 10 wins against 5 losses in the Patriot League.
AJ Allenspach was also instrumental in the victory, contributing 16 points while maintaining an impressive shooting streak, going 6 for 6 from the field and 4 for 4 from the free-throw line.
Meanwhile, Josh Scovens added 14 points to the scoreboard, shooting 4 for 14 overall, which included 1 for 3 from the three-point range and finishing with 5 successful free throws out of 6 attempts.
On the opposing side, the Eagles put forth a strong effort, with Matt Rogers leading their scoring with 21 points.
In addition, Elijah Stephens supported the team with 11 points and four assists.
Curry was particularly effective in the second half, as he scored 10 of his total points during that period, helping to solidify Army’s victory.
Looking ahead, Army will face Bucknell on the road this upcoming Sunday, while American is set to host Boston University on Saturday.
