PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles, who recently claimed the Super Bowl title, have announced the promotion of Kevin Patullo to the role of offensive coordinator following the exit of Kellen Moore, the team revealed on Wednesday.

Patullo began his tenure with the Eagles in 2021 as the passing game coordinator, coinciding with Nick Sirianni’s arrival as head coach. His position progressed to associate head coach in 2023.

In his new role, Patullo is set to take charge of an offense that excelled last season, finishing second in the NFL for rushing yards under Moore, who was appointed as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints just two days after the Eagles triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

“I can’t make a decision without first consulting Kevin, asking him, ‘What do you think?’ This applies to everything—game situations, scheduling, offensive plays, and game management. I heavily rely on his input,” stated Sirianni.

Patullo’s NFL career began with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007, where he worked as an offensive assistant and quality control coach. He has also had stints with other teams, including the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, and the Indianapolis Colts before joining the Eagles.

“Achieving greatness requires the support of others, and that’s particularly true with Kevin Patullo. I have complete trust in him,” added Sirianni.

During the past season, the Eagles showcased their formidable offense, led by dynamic quarterback Jalen Hurts and a robust offensive line, amassing a franchise-record 3,048 rushing yards. In a standout performance, running back Saquon Barkley totaled 2,005 yards during the regular season, complemented by an additional 499 yards across four playoff games, setting the NFL single-season rushing record.
