BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Jalen Sullinger led the Kent State Golden Flashes to a victory over the Bowling Green Falcons with an impressive performance, scoring 32 points in a 91-84 game on Tuesday night.

Sullinger’s contribution to the game included five rebounds and five assists, playing a key role in the Golden Flashes’ success as they improved their record to 18-8 overall and 8-5 in the Mid-American Conference. VonCameron Davis also had a strong showing, contributing 22 points with an efficient shooting performance, hitting 8 of 15 shots from the field, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc, along with a 3-for-5 effort at the charity stripe. Marquis Barnett rounded out the scoring for Kent State with 12 points.

On the opposing side, the Falcons saw standout performances as well, with Javontae Campbell putting up 26 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and providing five assists along with two steals. Marcus Johnson added to the Falcons’ score with 21 points, while Wilguens Jr. Exacte posted a solid performance with 11 points and seven rebounds.

Kent State took control of the game when they seized the lead with 12:30 remaining in the first half. They maintained their advantage throughout, heading into halftime with a solid 41-28 score. Sullinger’s prowess was highlighted in the second half, where he tallied an additional 21 points, helping his team secure a crucial victory.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to play again on Friday. Kent State will visit Miami (OH), while Bowling Green will face Toledo on the road.
