    DURHAM, N.C. — In an exciting matchup on Monday evening, Kameron Hobbs delivered an impressive performance, netting 24 points to propel Morgan State to a 92-78 victory over North Carolina Central.

    Hobbs not only showcased his scoring ability but also contributed significantly in other areas with seven rebounds and eight assists, leading the Bears to improve their record to 11-14 overall and 5-4 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

    Will Thomas provided strong support for Morgan State, scoring 23 points while displaying accuracy with his shooting—going 8 for 14 from the field, including hitting 3 of 4 from beyond the arc, along with a perfect 4 for 4 from the free-throw line. In addition, Daniel Akitoby contributed a double-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.

    On the opposing side, Perry Smith Jr. was the standout player for the Eagles, recording a double-double with 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Floyd Rideau followed, adding 15 points to the total, while Po’Boigh King chipped in with 13 points to round out the scoring efforts for North Carolina Central, which now holds an 11-15 overall record and 4-5 in the conference.
