A residential building consisting of three stories in Egypt collapsed on Monday morning, resulting in the deaths of 10 individuals and injuring three others, according to official reports.

Rescue teams and ambulances were dispatched to the site of the incident in Kerdasa City, located in the western part of Greater Cairo. Their primary task was to clear the debris and search for any victims who may still be trapped beneath it.

In response to the tragedy, Giza Governor Adel al-Naggar ordered the swift evacuation of nearby buildings to ensure the safety of residents in the vicinity. This information was shared through a statement from the Giza governorate on their social media platform. The governorate received reports regarding the building’s collapse around 5 a.m. Local security and forensic teams are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
