PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Kino Lilly Jr. delivered a stellar performance, scoring 23 points as Brown University secured an 82-72 victory over the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday evening.
Lilly showcased his versatility as he also recorded five assists for the Bears, who improved their season record to 12 wins and 10 losses, with a 4-5 mark in Ivy League play.
In addition to Lilly’s contributions, Landon Lewis was a significant factor in the win, tallying 20 points alongside impressive rebounding efforts, pulling down seven rebounds, and recording five blocks.
AJ Lesburt Jr. added to the Bears’ scoring, finishing the game with 12 points, hitting 5 of his 10 shots, though he struggled from beyond the three-point line, missing all three attempts.
On the other side of the court, the Quakers were led by Ethan Roberts, who shone brightly with 26 points. Sam Brown also made notable contributions, scoring 19 points for Penn.
Nick Spinoso rounded out the scoring for the Quakers, finishing with 10 points and grabbing six rebounds to help his team, which now holds a record of 6-16 and 2-7 in the Ivy League.
