NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In an impressive showing, Jacob Ognacevic scored 24 points, leading the Lipscomb Bisons to a solid 82-68 victory over Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday night.

Ognacevic also contributed six rebounds to the team’s effort. Will Pruitt had a notable game as well, scoring 20 points with an efficient shooting performance, hitting 5 out of 9 from the field and an impressive 10 for 11 from the free-throw line, while also grabbing 12 rebounds. Gyasi Powell added 16 points, shooting 5 of 8 overall and impressively going 4 for 4 from the charity stripe, which included two successful 3-point shots out of four attempts.

On the other side of the court, Jevin Muniz led the scoring for the Eagles with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Keeshawn Kellman matched his scoring with another 16 points, complemented by six rebounds and two blocks. Michael Duax contributed 14 points to the team’s cause.

Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to play again on Tuesday. Lipscomb will travel to face Eastern Kentucky, while Florida Gulf Coast will be hosting Jacksonville at home.
