ORANGEBURG, S.C. — In an impressive display of basketball, South Carolina State achieved a commanding victory over Morgan State on Saturday night, securing a final score of 90-62. Omar Croskey was a standout player for the Bulldogs, contributing 16 points to the team’s efforts. He finished the game shooting 6 of 14, including two successful three-pointers out of seven attempts.
In addition to Croskey’s performance, Jayden Johnson complemented the scoring with 14 points, having made five of his ten shots from the field and hitting two out of five from long range. Caleb McCarty chipped in with 10 points, shooting an impressive 5 of 7 from the field, further solidifying the Bulldogs’ offense.
On the other side, Morgan State struggled but found some bright spots. Kiran Oliver led the Bears with a total of 17 points. Kameron Hobbs contributed significantly as well with 16 points and four assists, helping his team maintain some offensive presence in the matchup. Additionally, Jaden Martin added eight points to the board for Morgan State.
Looking ahead, both teams are set to face off again on Monday. South Carolina State will host Coppin State, while Morgan State will hit the road to square off against North Carolina Central.
