LUBBOCK, Texas — In an intense matchup on Saturday, Darianna Littlepage-Buggs played a pivotal role in leading No. 25 Baylor to a 66-60 victory against Texas Tech, showcasing her skills with 19 points on an impressive 9-for-11 shooting, along with 13 rebounds.

The game turned critical with just over three minutes remaining when Littlepage-Buggs managed a crucial three-point play that helped Baylor reclaim momentum after Texas Tech had narrowed the margin to 57-56. Shortly thereafter, Sarah Andrews hit a crucial 3-pointer, extending Baylor’s lead to 63-58 with 2:55 left on the clock.

This score marked Baylor’s largest lead of the contest until Jada Walker sealed the game with a free throw in the final seconds, solidifying the Bears’ victory. Andrews not only contributed significantly with 16 points but also made history by playing her 159th game, setting a new Big 12 Conference record. Walker added to the scoreboard with 10 points, further boosting Baylor’s performance, which now stands at 22 wins and 5 losses, with an 11-3 conference record.

On the opposing side, Texas Tech struggled with consistency, with Bailey Maupin leading their efforts with 15 points.
