BOSTON — In a thrilling matchup on Saturday, Kyrone Alexander of Boston University shone brightly, contributing 21 points and hitting the decisive jump shot just six seconds before the final buzzer. His efforts propelled the Terriers to a nail-biting 93-91 victory over Colgate.
Alexander also made an impact on the boards, grabbing seven rebounds, helping the Terriers improve their record to 13-14 overall and 7-7 in the Patriot League. Ben Defty was another key contributor for Boston University, scoring 15 points with an impressive shooting performance, including going 4 for 6 from the floor and a perfect 7 for 7 from the free-throw line, while also securing seven rebounds and blocking four shots.
